Public Safety

Commissioner Aguilar sponsored an initiative to provide the Cook County Sheriff’s Office with a helicopter. This has brought Cook County closer to peer counties in their equipment and has increased the ability of first responders to track carjackings, and coordinate fire and paramedic actions to ensure people are getting help as quickly and safely as possible.
